Maths and Science Tutor
In the early school years children are putting down the very basic foundations of maths that they will build on in the future. Basic number work including times tables, shapes and everyday maths such as money and time. I try to keep lessons fun and interesting to ensure the techniques are understood and also to ensure that the students avoid becoming scared of maths and remain open to future learning.
Keystages 1&2
I can provide support to students in years 8/9 who will be completing their Key Stage 3 level. Often students will be looking to ensure their maths is sound prior to moving schools and starting GCSE courses. I aim to make certain that students are able to give their best performance in KS3 tests which are used for Senior School/GCSE streaming and that they are fully prepared for the exam courses to come.
